Darin B. North is co-owner of North Mechanical Heating and Air Conditioning, located in Payson, AZ. He started this position on 1 Jan 2007. Through this position he provides management and oversight to the finance, marketing and advertising, logistics, administrative, and information system functions within the company.
Prior to this position, he served on active duty in the US Air Force. He began his service in 1994 when he enlisted as an aerospace maintenance technician. Over the course of 5 years he rose to the rank of Staff Sergeant and served as a dedicated crew chief on an EC-130H aircraft (Hercules). During this time he completed both an Associate and a Bachelor’s Degree which allowed him to apply for and receive a military commission.
Darin received a commission as a Second Lieutenant in the communications field in December of 2000.
He spent the next six years at various assignments in multiple countries including Japan, Great Britain,
Portugal, Honduras, and the United States. His positions held included Project/Network Engineer, Information
Assurance Officer, Executive Officer, Commander of Plans and Programs, and Commander of Combat Support where
he led 85 personnel and managed equipment valued at $75M. After 12 years of total active duty service, he
transferred to the US Air Force Reserves where he continues to serve as a Captain within the communications field.
Darin and his wife Stacy were married in Feb of 1995 and are happily raising four beautiful daughters ranging in age from six to thirteen. They enjoy living in the rim country and look forward to serving the entire community for many years to come.
